I have already advised Meredith not to send another book and that I wouldn't pay for return.  They said keep the book and they would remove my name from their records.  They have not as I received another edition today of Christmas from the Heart.  I don't have time nor money to deal with this nonsense and will not pay to return unopened package.

    It's an order cramming scam..
    It is illegal to send bills for unordered merchandise through the US Mail.  You have no obligation to pay them, nor do you have any obligation to return anything.
    If you received a bill for stuff you didn't order, file a mail fraud complaint with the US Postal Inspector.

    I received 2 books i did not order and i am not going to pay to return  send me a return label and i will be happy to mail them

    Just received package from this Meredith books in Iowa too. I have been a Country Gardens subscriber for a year and a half, and just renewed for two years. I don't need extra issues of same magazine and unordered picture books under a different account number. This is the same scam routine as Jerry Baker ran with his books on gardening. Send them out with a bill and hope we open the package and then have to pay to return them since thee package gets opened. We don't order/we don't pay/nor return !   Period !

    I received a book I did not order. According to federal guidelines, I do not have to take the time, make the effort or spend the money to return it. Your correspondence said you would be sending more books. DO NOT! You should not treat senior citizens in America this way. We are all trying to stay alive and put food on the table. Our  Attorney General is not too fond of companies who scam senior citizens!  Erase this Acc't # from your records:10030596331

    We have received a calendar from you which we did not order.  In that this was a unsolicited item, we are not returning it nor are we paying for it.  We will not be ordering anything from you in the future.  Remove our account number, 10030531452, from your records.

      I am getting books that I did not order also. I have written letters requesting to take my name off the mailing list but I just got another book today. I have not opened it...I have asked for my name to be removed from any future mailings. I am not paying for it.

    I received one of your books on February 2/22/2021 - it was fully wrapped and had not been touched - it was left on our front porch.  I did not order this book, and we don't plan to keep it OR order any other books in the future.  My account number is 10005251433 - please close out and remove our account from your records.  If you would like me to return the book, please provide me with a postage paid label to return it. Otherwise, I will not pay for it or return it.

    I received two of your bookazines on April 2, 2021 - it was fully wrapped and had not been touched - it was left on our front porch.  I did not order these bookazines, and I don't plan to keep it OR order any other bookazines in the future.  My account number is 10031490047 - please close out and remove my account from your records.  If you would like me to return the bookazines, please provide me with a postage paid label to return it. Otherwise, I will not pay for it or return it.

    This is the second book I have received and did NOT order.  I can return it for a refund minus shipping costs.  I should not have to pay shipping for something I did not order.  Please remove me, Acct. #10026492149, as I do not want to receive any addition unsolicited books.  After this, I will throw the package away if I receive any other book that I did not order.

    I received your book CHRISTMAS from the Heart last week and I did not order this.  I do not want any more books sent to me.  I have always enjoyed your regular magazine Better Home & Garden but if you send anything else to me not ordered by me I will cancel my subscription.  My Account # is 10028434743.  If you send me a return label, all shipping charges paid I will return the book .

    Looks like you have several complaints about this unordered book delivery fraud. I too just received yet another celebrate the seasons book yesterday, that like the rest, DID NOT ORDER AND WILL NOT PAY FOR, NOR WILL I PAY TO RETURN.  I have several magazine subscriptions that I receive and have renewed, and also paid the bills on, although I
    have liked some of them, that does NOT mean to send more books. I have sent letters, emails, notes with payments for these books saying and then eventually  TELLING to stop sending, and to cancel which apparently,  you have some trouble heeding the fraud warnings. I won't pay for this most recent book or worry about its return, and if any more come, they will be opened, added to my collection and not paid for...Acct# is 10030356561 ONE LAST TIME: CANCEL SENDING UNSOLICITED AND UNORDERED BOOKS, or continue non payments when people keep them.
