my mortgage was with Countrywide and ended up in Bank of America's hands....when the government announced they were going to do the 'homes made affordable' program, I applied.  That was approximately 2 1/2 years ago, and they still haven't gotten it right!  Meanwhile, they have been ruining my credit and sending erroneous letters about being behind months, when in fact I've never been more than 45 days behind in 11 years!  I'm taking it to the banking industry and my attorney, as I am though being bullied by this inept bank that we helped bail out with our tax money!!

Forget it. They are not going to modify any mortgages. Remember, they do not own the houses or notes. They sold them in big blocks around the world. They are just collectors driven by the fees they earn for their services. Short sales are big money makers for boa.  Most foreclosures could have been avoided but that is not part of the boa game plan. Best to get a bulldozer and level all of them. It is time to take a real stand. Our laws protect the corrupt.
