Disatisfied and Angry over lack of customer care

I purchased this Maytag washer in November 2011 and is less than six months old and the transmission is out. I contacted Hahn Appliances in Oklahom City to exchange or get a refund and they refused saying after 30 days I had to go through Maytag service group. After their service contacted Maytag they wer informed that an exchange would not be authorized as this was the first service call and only authorized the service group to replace the transmission. I only bought a Maytag as we had purchased an Maytag washer that was in service for 12 years earlier an to thain that Maytag now will not exchange this product or do a full refund is ridiculous. i contacted Maytag direct and spoke with a service manager tht was cold an callous and only repeated the company line that they would repair this machine. I would offer that there are other consumers that have purchased this supposedly commercial grade heavy duty machine and have had problems within the first year of service.
