this company said if i didnt comply to their terms of payment that a felony warrant wwould be issued for fraud.  can they do that?

    I'm not a fan of the BBB.  As far as I'm concerned, they're just money grubbing shills that will sell a good rating to anyone with enough cash.  But, even the BBB doesn't like them:

    A number of red flags here:  outstanding debt that is pursued in court is not a felony matter.  It's a civil one.  Since it's a civil matter, no 'warrant (for your arrest)' can possibly be 'issued.'  If there were a warrant for your arrest, you wouldn't be getting notified by some fly-by- night debt collector.  You'd have the sheriff at your door with the warrant.  But, as I've already mentioned, since this is a civil matter and not a felony one, there can't possibly be any warrant.

    File complaints with your AG, the FTC and the Consumer Protection Agency, even if you do owe them money.  They've threatened you with things that they can't possibly do which is a violation of the FDCPA.
