This is just a scam to get another month out of a member or group.  If there is no use of the club what cost do they justify the charge.  Lifetime likes to make you think they are different but there membership person could not give any explanation of what cost they had to justify charging another months fee other than it was corporate policy.  The best way to stop this is negative referrals,  Customer ill will can cost a  business much more than the fees they can ever possibly charge.  Any business should be able to give a logical explanation of any charge to their customer, if they can't, it looks like a scam and sends what could be a customer off with a bad taste.  NOT SO SMART!!!

I was a member of LTF for 10 years, when I joined they hadn't even had the building built yet at the time, my original policy neve3r stated that I had to cancel at a certain date, however they changed their "policy" at some point in those 10 years, never sent me and updated copy, and I had to quit due to losing my job. I quit on the 6th of a month, and the supposed "magic day" you had to quit without being charged the next month was the 5th...after many email letters to LTF corporate, and an inquiry to the BBB I had no choice but to pay.  THIS IS HOW LTF TREATS 10 YEAR MEMBERS WHO FALL ON BAD TIMES...no negotiation, nothing, just PAY US!
