excessive cancellation fee

Direct TV installed equipment on house. Installer said only place was by side of house and due to wide overhangs had to create a setup. I didn't realize that it would be huge and visible to any one walking up my sidewalk to my front door. Looks like I am communicating with Mars.  A real eyesore. I cancelled that service that veryday.
I was charge a $460 cancellation fee, inaddition to numerous other fees. I feel that if an installation is
unsatisfactory, that a month fee is ok since I paid for  the installation of equipment.
