Lost baggage harassment !!

I am deeply disappointed with my experience with Air France and the level of pathetic customer service. I landed 4 hours back in Delhi after a 20 hour long journey from NY via Paris (Flight AF 3635(DL 400) and AF 226).
I have a wedding to attend in less than 6 hours and turns out the airline has lost my baggage! I am told I may get it in the next 24-48 hours. But what about the wedding that I came all the way to attend half way across the world!?? My entire trip is ruined. Money wasted. And most importantly Air France has caused me so much emotional harassment. I have no clothes shoes or anything to wear at this very important wedding that I came all the way to india to attend !! I have not even been offered any compensation! After waiting 2 hours at the airport post landing, u have Just gotten a nonchalant response to my queries and iv been asked to go home from the airport and WAIT for my baggage!! Horrible experience and even worse customer service!! Even assuming you find my bag and send it to me in 24-48 hours, What do I do about not having anything to wear today at the wedding in less than 6 hours!!!? The same wedding that I ame all the way for..! The same baggage (8006819997) which you very conveniently made me pay 75 bucks for overweight!! You have lost all of my precious belongings and ruined such an important day of my life!!
I am so disappointed by this horrible customer service and demand compensation for this deeply disturbing emotional harassment ! I should have never travelled by air France! With no clothes to wear at the wedding in 6 hours I am wondering what I need to do for the other 2 ceremonies coming up this week - for which all my clothes were in that bag!
