Will make this short and sweet, I hope.
Bought a timeshre in 2006, havent been able to use it as husband works away. We were shown a resort we were told we could use as we didnt like the one we were buying into. So.... we try and use it two years later, and find out that they want us to pay $410 a  night per person ontop of the $10,000USD we have paid to stay anywhere. They dispute they showed us this resort, they dispute they didnt tell us we had to pay more once they admitted we were shown the resort. And so the saga goes on. We have been told we can have 2 free weeks there, which will come to the equivalent of the price we paid originally. Why would we want to do that, it doesnt solve the problem of having to pay more if we want a holiday there. Now we wait as we want out of this whole sorry mess. It leaves a very bad taste in the mouth. Husband is retiring this month and we thought we would be able to use our RCI membership without doubt as we bought into the higher levels of timeshare. Tried to find a place to go before February 2009, we have been told there is nothing on our side of the world. So we cant use the Royal Bali Club we cant use RCI. Well we can if we forever pay more, what was the point of paying into something we thought we would have for life and no more expense apart from air travel.
So people out there, beware Royal Bali Club and RCI. The directors and President must be laughing all the way to the bank.

      I like inform all that i have settle my dispute with the Royal Resort i found them to be very professional to deal with,,, write to them about you experience and take it from there...

      Our issue relating to Royal Resorts was resolved and we are really happy with the outcome and having no further issues with Royal Resorts. This complaint is no longer relevant  being that the matter was resolved and we now have no further complaints or issues against Royal Resorts.

    I just want to know how much we pay for membership royal resort and then they pro mess we can get 25 years membership and can stay 7 days in their resort every 2 years. I think it's expensive for their membership almost us$ 8000

      Somebody in here have same experience with Mr Handi
      he did down payment and just realized that he make some mistake
      how to do cancel next payment,....
      The company would not try to push you in any way make you have to pay the remaining bills

       "USED CAR SALESMAN ATTITUDE BOYS CLUB" They men that are there for some period of time work there because they couldnt get a job in our western world AS THEY QUITE WELL KNOW WHY !!!!!  Gross male chauvonistic attitudes that USE  "BULSHIT" TECHNIQUES to get you to buy they lie and tell you all sorts of stories [***] SIZZLE MORE [***]  and TRY TO USE "BOOT CAMP' style of training by I guy who thinks hes all that and a BUCKET OF BINTANG !!!! I have a plethora of stories if anyone wants to pay for them I would be willing to give plenty of evidence to support what I  have written.

      My husband and i joined 2 years ago after seeing  fairly nice accomodation in jimberin bay.We banked a week and with years have just spent 2 weeks at Sanur.$17,000 later and $750 a year, we get to stay at Sanur.This is the worst accomcation we have had in bali in 10 years and is now the most espensive holiday we can have. What can we do? What would happen if we stopped paying the maitenance fees ?
