Mr. Jack Lewis (not an American accent) says that I won a Grant and that it was 11,000 dollars. Stating that he was calling from the US Grant Department in Washington DC and also gave me an address of 201 Independent Ave, Washington DC, 20201.Phone number 202-125-8549 which I called back said it was out of order. I work for the Federal Government and I know when I am being scammed. He wanted me to give him a credit card or debit card so that they can transfer the money into that card. I told him I left my purse at home and did not have any card with me, I told him he could call me back later on today. At that time I will let him know that I know it is a scam and I have contacted the Office of the Attorney Generals office (Department of Consumer Protection Section). This is very bad and no should let it go.

    He used the name "Jack Lewis" because it's similar to Jack Lew (the Treasury Secretary).

    I went off on him when he called from his 100th number about not calling anymore and he asked if I'm black I'm guessing because I was fed up with the constant calls

    This [***] keeps Calling my cell waking me up and i work 7pm to 7am. I got to keep my cell on. Stop calling my cell!!!! Scam Grant of 15 Grand. Jack LEWis.

    Just called me (9/2/2016 @ 3:28pm) with the same scam. $11,000 would be sent to my bank account or on a reloadable plastic card. WTF? I asked hime to just send a check and he hung up.

    I just received a second call from this number today, within a two hour period. It was a female caller, she spoke very broken English. I was told I was chosen to receive a grant money to spend as I like, all she need was how to deposit the money into my account, a bank card or credit card. I asked her how she got my number, I was told this is the Federal government and we have all your information. I told her my phone number was a non-published number and I was also registered on the "Do Not Call" list. She did not say another word and disconnected the call.
