Worst most dishonest contractor EVER!

This outfit sent a Chris Hill and we agreed on the price and he promised to start the following monday and finish no later than Tuesday. I have to put my business (and life) on hold and babysit my dogs when someone works in the house because my wife works from home on the phone. Long story short Mr. Hill did not show up till Wednesday and promised to finish that day... he worked a couple hours and just left.. no notice. He then called and promised to finish Thursday... no show. Same story Friday. Finally since he wasn't answering his phone, I texted him that if he did not show up and finish Saturday he was fired. Unfortunately I had already paid him $975. He was a no show Saturday and no call. I again texted him he was fired. He showed up Sunday and apologized and begged me to let him complete the job. I told him I had a quote for $1,000. and if he wanted to do the job that was all I was willing to pay him, because he had already cost me a week of work and damaged my bathroom tiles and left my house a total mess, not to mention promising three times he would absolutely finish and not keeping his word.. He agreed. Sunday he got most of the work done and asked if I could help him out and pay him half of the $1,000. which I did. He did not finish up the wiring until Monday, when he demanded I pay him the full amount from our original contract, and said he never agreed to the $1,000. I told him he was a liar and when he came back to finish up by wiring the appliances as agreed I would pay him the other $500. He shouted and made nasty remarks and left. It will be interesting to see if he will come back and finish for his final payment, or sue for it as he threatened.
