Paul Lima at 1-800-521-3236 attempted to solicit information regarding my sister-in-law. I accepted to call her and give his info to her after refusing to divulge her phone number. Instead I called back and during a heated discussion asking how he obtained my information he closed out the call without answering and hung-up.Obviuosly an unsolicited phone call and possibly a scam according to internet sources.

They are prohibited by federal law from disclosing to others that an alleged debtor they are trying to locate owes a debt, so in such calls they typically say very little, including avoiding disclosing that they are a debt collector. They can only contact others such as yourself for the purpose of obtaining locating information. If they already have that, they should not be contacting you, or anyone other than the debtor.
You might let your relative know that a debt collector is trying to contact her, but do not set yourself up as some alternative means of communications, or you may find yourself harassed on a daily basis, using the guise of "locating" your relative to attempt to pressure her through embarassment.
