missed flight by force of the flight security

Hi guise,

I had such a rough and unbelievable experience with Turkish airlines on October 1st.
I flown from Tehran to Istanbul and a connection flight from Istanbul to Toronto. I received received my boarding passes witch included mine and my two 1.5 and 3 years old children at 7am right after landing to Istanbul airport. The departure time to Toronto was at 11.30 and i took my time to take care of the kids and keep them all right during this 5 hours transit.

At 11.16 I arrived to the designated flight gate since i needed to get in after almost everybody had settled on their seat.People still were going through the security check and 2 or 3 people still were in the line.

One security stopped me and questioned if were I was flying from and then he checked my Iranian passport. Then he instructed me to seat and wait. a few minutes later i noted that the gate cure were closing and collecting their stuff. Then when i tried to question what was happening i was told that we were too late to board.The man pointed at me and instructed me to seat and wait for somebody from the flight crew who was comming to speak to  me. I was sure that there might have been some issues and they would let me get on at least i had two young children.then when i found myself being ignored i tried to inqire more info from the security people but the same man this time shouted at me to seat.
I was shocked, and nummed by this action.My brain could not process that what was happening to me and my family.

To shorten the story, I was denied to get on board with my two children and nobody could speak clear English.I had to run from one gate to other and from one counter to other counter, in order to get somebody to assisst me. Every where i was told, "This is your problem".
When finally i found somebody who could undrestand and speak English It was too late. The worst thing is that when they found out that I had canadian citizenship they rebooked me for the next flight which was schedueled for 2 days after!

finally I left the airport at 4 pm, with my children tired of being in the stroller and frustrated, settle in "5 star hotel" That i myself don't even give 2 stars. I had to pay 100 US dollars and other cost of accomodation just becouse ..............................................?

Now i am back to my home and my kids are fine, but i can't let that go with not getting some help from anybody who might be able to assist me in getting my rights.

1. If We were late for boarding, did we have right to be called on over head before hand?
2. Couldn't at least they get us on board as cortesy becouse of my two young children?
3. If I realy missed the flight, why did the same flight provided us another return ticket free of charge?
Did I was suppose to purchase the ticket on my own cost, as it was my responsibility?

4.Why the agents at the connection flight servise desk were inforcing me to purchase the ticket on my own cost but then they provided that for free, after they found out my children and i were holding dual citizenship?
and so many more ? to this story.............
This is unbelievable.
Please help me to find out if there is any resourses rather than the TKA costumer service that i could take my complain.
