I work for Midwest publishers home office. Yes we read a script. We have all of your info from a leads we buy. We try to steal the subscription u currently have from the company that initially tricked u into signing up. Most ppl get signed up through WalMart gift card, nutri bullet, or new wave oven, coupon books, etc. We offer the subscription $10 a month cheaper. When we call we already have ur credit card info from when u ordered something online or over the phone . We ask u to verify it so we can re enter it to make sure its current and because we r required to to take over the subscription. Ur 24 mo subscription then starts over but at a lower rate then the other company. We don't send bills we make an electronic payment that automatically comes off the card once a month. If we call u can ask for a mag switch list if u don't like yours because we just send a couple most ppl like if u don't pick. Most ppl really are new. High turnover job. I hate it but its money and its easy. We are really nice but we r just trying to do our job and ppl are sooo rude even when we try to be our nicest. There is no do not call system. We just write a 2 by ur name if u won't cooperate. We stop calling when u buy. Once u buy u can't cancel because the number the suoerviser gives u is a phone in the corner nobody answers in the front by the door. We call from a blocked number because we don't want u calling us back then u could cancel. Its usually 39.99 a month and totals 1000 or so total. Once u buy we have u on tape agreeing and our debt collectors will recover the funds if u cancel ur card or refuse payment..then we sue. Long story short. Dont order from a debit or visa. Buy a prepaid when ordering off tv in case of these instances. But if u like ur magz and want them cheaper its nit a bad deal. We don't charge any fees or do anything fishy besides make u say yes enough times to get u to agree to us. Sorry. Lol I have an interview somewhere else today. Cross yr fingers for me!

Good luck on your job search.  I hope it doesn't involve writing.
