Finally paid off my Credit Card.  Then charged $69.99 for this entertainment program called Fredericks Duets.  Never heard of it.  Turns out they have been charging me annual membership fees for over 5 years.  Seems if you order from Fredericks you are automatically enrolled to the program, yes, the program they do not tell you about and that you are never sent paperwork regarding.  This is a scam where since they have your credit card, they repeatedly charge you (AND YES MORE THAN ONCE A YEAR) for a non-existent program.  They will not refund your money.  Manager Aaron, refused to give his last name said he would refund the last charge, since I called to cancel so soon after it was charged.  He had to put me on hold while it processed.  30 minutes later, said I would show the refund within 5 business days.  Never Happened.  Called back to speak with another manager, Steven, who says there are no notes kept in the file and only cancellation shows.  Then he put me on hold to read the account "notes", returning to say that I must send a letter to get a refund investigated.  They do not & will not send you any information regarding this supposed program.  Fredericks was thought of as a good company.  Never again will I do business with them.  Shame when a company bites the hand that feeds them.

You don't get fraudulent charges back by asking nicely.  When they first schemed to take your money, they intended to keep it.

Immediately contact your bank to dispute the fraudulent charge, and block the credit card due to fraud to prevent additional charges in the future.  Follow up with a written dispute or fraud affidavit sent to your bank's dispute address from your statement.

File fraud complaints with FTC, your state AG, and at www.ic3.gov

Stop using fraudulent merchants, and make sure you have cut off all access they may have to your accounts.

In addition, contact the offices of Sen. Jay Rockefeller.

His Senate Commerce Committee heald hearings on these fraudulent charging scams a couple years back.
