What a rip off

We joined Direct buy in Timonium MD. We paid $5000 for the privilege, after a high pressure sales presentation. We were told sign on tonight or you won't be able to for another 7 years. Oh, and don't tell our catalogue prices to any other store! We joined to remodel our kitchen and some baths. We went through direct buy recommended contractor. The contractor said he was giving us a 20% discount. The job ended up costing $12,000 not including material also purchased through a direct buy dealer. The cost was $6.00 per tile. We later saw very similar tiles at Home Depot for less than $2.00. When I ordered some hard wood flooring through Direct buy it turned out to be more expensive than the exact same flooring would cost at Home Depot because of the added 8% and shipping. When we wanted to remodel our kitchen we went to Direct Buy and we were told the books are on the shelf find what you need and order it. The Timonium store closed shortly there after. I wasn't going to play with Direct buy any longer. We had our kitchen done buy an independent local small business and bought appliances through Sears and HH Gregg. I doubt even the best direct buy could have been any cheaper. Mean while I'm out $5,000 to direct buy with no way short of a law suite to recover it.
