David Lopez called from 347-298-2935 - claims that I have to call 877-712-8087 to find out information regarding a claim against me - but did not have the name of the complainant, name of company that 877 # was for or any information regarding what the claim was about.  When prompted for information about who United Processing Service was - and whether they were attempting to serve me with any papers and from which court -his response was that they were not a processing server company, but was just trying to be courteous by informing me that someone had a complaint against me and if I wish to gain more information, I should call the 877#.  Needless to say - this appears to be a scam - I did a search of the courts and there are no open claims against me.

    Typical shakedown scam..
    Caller/closer format, for split deception.
    Probably US-based, since they are using tactics to muddy evidence of deception for fear of possible lawsuits against them.

    I just received a call from a person named David Lopez as well.  He said he worked for a company called A1 Courier Services.  He stated he was providing a courtesy call because someone had lodged a civil complaint against me.  He said I should call the same number that a previous person posted on this site, 877-712-8087.  He said this was the number to the law firm CLS which is handling the complaint. Since he works for a courier company I asked whether he would be delivering any documents to my home and he said no.  He again stated he was only providing a courtesy call.  Something is definitely "off" here.

    just received a call from Junior Rodriquez at 518-772-1249 said he works from A1 Courier making a courtesy call about a civil complaint and I should call 877-712-8087...to talk to people handling civil complaint against me...they told me they were looking for someone with my name and with the last 4 digits of my SS# . The last four were totally off so it wasn't me, he got indignant when I told him I was contacting my lawyers and the state fraud division as i believed they were trying to pull a scam. he hung up...i called Junior back...he said he didnt know he was just following orders.

      Received a call from the same 518 number but some guy by the name of Mike Reily. Gave me the same story line and told me to call the 1-800 # or I would be served at home or my place of work

    Got a call from "A1 Courier Services" from 617-391-8533 telling me to call 877-712-8087 and reference a case number (redacted).  I asked him where this case was filed and he replied that it would be in the local county. I pushed again and said there is no way he could have a case number from a court without already having filed a complaint.   I pushed hard to get the "A1 Courier Services" as this was not immediately offered.  Additionally, he wouldn't provide his name nor address for "A1 Courier Services".   IMO, scam

    I got a call from A! courier Services 1581-772-1249 - telling me to call 877-712-8087 and reference a case # regarding a civil complaint . lol . when I tried to ask more info he hung up on me .

    I received a call from 518-772-1249.  I didn't answer because the location came up as NY and I don't know anyone there.  The first thing I do is a search on a number and these are usually the stories I find.  The number belongs to some kind of scam.  I report and encourage others to report because posts like this can keep people from getting their bank accounts wiped out.  Be sure to never confirm a social!  It will always be the wrong 4 unless they randomly get it right.  The goal is to get you to tell them your actual number.  Don't ever do it or you will be sorry!

    My cousin got a call, that someone was looking for me, they gave him # 877 712 8087 and a case number for me to call back. This happened to me before and was told I would be served I told them to go ahead, never did I received anything in the mail or in person. This is a scam, don't give out any information out.
