No REFUND given despite 7 days advance cancellation through Bookings.Com

I had booked 7 days earlier through Bookings.Com for 2 nights with morning breakfast for £140.00 in total.Unfortunately i had to cancel the bookings in advance of 7 days.I had an email from Bookings.Com that my booking has been cancelled and it was a big relief.When checking with bank on line i found the company has already taken £140.00 from my account.Iam dissatisfied and raised questions with Bookings.Com to refund.
