I've been receiving these kind of emails for a while,  I responded to 1 or 2 paid some money because they really scared me but soon I realized they're nothing but thieves. I don't know what to do,  should I go to the police?  Just delete them and block them. Im so tired of these robbers and rats,  shouldn't they be persecuted and pay for what they do, besides stealing, they play with people's emotions.   life is hard as it is, adding this kind of problems can cause severe damage to our minds and lives.

Just received one of these emails.  I replied to see what info they had on me and to my surprise they had my full SSN and a bank account number that had been closed for over a year prior to the date they gave for the debt.  Filed an IC3 complaint.
