I flew with Southwest Airlines last week. It was a direct flight and when I arrived to my destination I discovered that several items were missing from my bag.

My luggage was not damaged so I didn't even think to check the content before I arrived at my hotel.

The missing items were clothing and a bottle of perfume which was hidden inside the bag. I remember packing the items because several of them were gifts and I wrapped them.

I contacted the Southwest Airlines but they could not help me because "it was more than 4 hours since I arrived and my luggage didn't show any damage".

Next time I fly I am sealing my bag.

Lost luggage with brand new stuff in it with tags and extras. Total was $1145, sending me a check for $790, guess they need that extra 30% to keep going. Never fly anyother airlines but looking into it now. My luggage, 2 pieces was lost, even though I saw it come off plane in Indianapolis but never made it to Chcago. And that little mistake costs this consumer $355 dollars (plus my airfare). How cheap is that. I put this posting on Facebook and here, soon to follow any other website I can. Southwest, I know you don't care but I am a little person fighting the uphill battle against big corporation. Best to tell everybody you know and then some. Thinking about putting a banner on my car and driving around Chicago with it. SOUTHWEST DOES NOT REIMBURSE YOU FOR ALL YOU "LOST" LUGGAGE. DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE PEOPLE WHO KEEP THE AIRLINES GOING..........

My first flight was delayed for 3 hours to San Antonio. I finally got a flight, but at the end our plane almost went down. The stewardess starting freaking out. I was traumatized only to find that when I got to San Antonio trying to get to LA my next flight was delayed for 2 hours. Not only that, they informed me that they lost my bag and just schrugged it off. I've called customer service 3 times and they now say my bag is at LAX and refuse to deliver it. They are making me pick it up. I cannot believe this airline is still in business. Oh yeah and I flyed into Dallas for a funeral for one of my best friend's little brother I grew up with... Unreal.

My veteran uncle passed, man was like a father to us.  when making reservations for his burial at Veterans Memorial in Boise Idaho my ticked was off one day...stress, pressure...easy to understand how this would happen.  I found out when, over my phone, it was stated my flight was cancelled...I immediately called and was assured there would be no problem to reassign me to the same seat the following day and get a refund for the flight missed...all i had to do was call customer relations and they would remove the charge of the flight just cancelled.  No problems.  I then repaid for the same seat on the same flight at the same time...NO DIFFERENCE...When I called they were very unsympathetic and couldn't care less.   It was only over a small $250...So I ended up paying twice for the same seat...no refunds.  I spoke to someone in customer relations that gave my number to her supervisor, Rachel...after assuring me she's not going to do anything more than she did, which was NOTHING!!!
I've flown Southwest for many years....sorry about that.
