  I too have received gift certificates for two hot air balloon rides valid for two years from: 11/30/2011. I have been trying to redeem for a long time and as we are all finding out the phone number given for 1-800-SKY-RIDE.com (1-800-372-1254) either rings a fast busy or no answer. Today I went on line and found all of your comments for claims. So I dug a little deeper. I went to www.GiftCertificatesNow.com, and all it's for is to request a gift certificate. Phone number given is 1-860-581-4466. They claim to be Adventure Outdoors (looked it up and it refers to guns, etc.) I called that number and the lady told me Sky Ride had been out of business since early 2012. I explained the gift cert I had, and she said hold on. She came back and told me "Adventure Outdoors purchased their website in late Oct 2012, and they had nothing to do with Sky Ride, and they won't honor the gift certs from them". She said, "we should go back to our banks to stop payment". I said it's a little late for that. Those transactions are pretty old, as well as gifts from others, but I would touch base with the bank if possible. It's worth a try. I then asked for their address, and she came back on the line and said she was told she couldn't give that info out.  I asked where they were located, and she said they were in Atlanta, GA. I told her someone somewhere is still taking reservations as proven by your comments as currently as Jul 2013. She said, "Sorry that has nothing to do with us." , and hung up. This appears to be a big scam to include the new web site owners.

  Bought a gift certificate for my son in law 11/18/2011 paid $209 went to schedule sky jump and found out company is no longer there. Want to file to get my money back and report this company. So tired of liars and cheats
