Sending Bogus meds

Complaint

Maggie Sheldon
Country: United States
I ordered some diet meds from someone representing RX Pharmacy or US Pharmacy. They would only take COD which was $280.00 made out to Nobilex.
Their address is 115 South Golf View Lake Worth Florida 33460 Phone#s
561-370-7814 407-207-0820 646-257-2277. I was assured I could easily get a refund and these were great meds.  Before I can get a refund I need to get a "RM" # which is impossible to get or submit an affadavit, your police history, Drivers License info.  They have my cell# and home number and hang up on me or do not answer.
I thought I was a smarter person but now feel I have SUCKER on my forehead.
Please help close this company, I saved for a long time and don't want anyone else taken. Thank You

"Diet pills" are currently a major area for scammers.  Beware, since many of these companies start charging consumers (via ACH debits) for periodic shipments, which may or may not even come.

You would be wise to close your checking account to prevent future charges, since on receiving your check, they will have your account information.

"lower your credit card rate" scam.  May be phishing.
    "Jerry - 12 Mar 2008
I received a call today here in So.CA. from 407-207-0820 about lowering CC interest. I pushed #1 and played along to get information. The call is from Equity First Financial in Orlando,FL. The guy asked how much debt I had and on how many cards.I asked him what company this was and where he was located. Then asked me to give him the CC number, and the toll free number on the back of the card. Thats when I told him I didn't own a CC, and that I was going to report the company for calling since I am on the do not call list. He called me a F--Ken Jerk and hung up on me. The same company is using the number 954-733-7981. If you get their call, play along with them and get as much information as possible until they ask for your CC number. If you get all the information about the company you can report to your local police fraud Dept with all the information."

    "Car Warranty" scam:
    "Sybyl - 12 Mar 2008
I recieved a call from this number on my cell (in CA) and did not answer.  No message was left and research showed that the number came from Orlando Florida.  Last week I rec. a call from the same area code on my work line and the automated voice said that my auto warranty was almost up"

I have been getting calls from 1-407-207-0820 and 1-973-835-8112 regarding my CCs interest rate, i have asked them in many occations to put me in the no call list but they just hang up as soo as I mention no call list. Today 3-14-2008 I finally got to talk to somebody on the other end, and when I told him that i have requested before to be put in the no call list he told me "we are in America and we can do whatever we want" to which I responded that I was going to contact the FCC and he said "I don't care" I am very upset can you please help me do something about it?

"Heather from credit services" scam, known to be telemarketing out of Florida.  Report that they are apparently buying "promotional" credit report lists from Equifax to use for their solicitations.

    "bustunsolicitedtelemarketers@yahoo.com - 23 hours 34 minutes ago
I KNOW WHO'S CALLING US!! I just pulled my Equifax Credit Report and found a promotional inquiry: "PRM-FIRST INVESTORS FINANCIAL SVCS" from 02/06/08  and 12/14/07. Really, was it that easy? They have offices in Houston, Texas (I'm in Texas) and Atlanta, GA (where I hear a lot of people can get agents to admit they're located).

I called phone number on their website (https://www.fifsg.com/default.aspx) and believe it or not, the voice on the recording is the SAME voice on the recording that's been calling us..."Heather from credit services."

I know that calling them and asking to be removed from their list will do no good, but I AM contacting the Texas Attorney General! Since I am "lucky enough" to be in the same state, I hope to get a massive lawsuit started against these pesky [***]!!

If you want to be kept up to date of any the AG's response or pending suit, feel free to send me an e-mail (bustunsolicitedtelemarketers@yahoo.com) and I'll create a list. Since I'm not trying to scam you out of your info, please don't send me anything more than your first name, your state, and the email address where you'd like the updates. If you have a list of the all the phone numbers the calls have originated from, that would be helpful, too! Let's get these guys!!!

Recording, about “your credit card account”.
    Pressed one for more information:
Operator: did you press 1 to lower your credit card interest rates?
Me: I pressed one for more information. What’s your name?
    Operator: Parla, with a P
Me:  Exactly which of my credit card accounts are you calling about?
Operator:  Ma’am, we represent over 500 banks and credit card companies.
Me: Oh.  Because your recording said you were calling about *my* credit card account. What is the name of your company?
Operator: I’m calling from “Consumer Services”.
Me: And that’s the actual name of  your company?
    Operator:  Yes
Me: Great.  Is there a contact number or address where I can reach your company?
Hung up. (Guess I need to fake it a little better.)

I have reported the call both to my state (Colorado) no-call list and the federal no call list at www.donotcall.gov.  Although I know they won't do anything about this particular call, it adds to their databases about the number and will help them establish patterns, perhaps eventually build a case.

Besides, it's kind of my little revenge to keep those operators on the line as long as I can.  They're paying for the call, and they're not getting through to someone more gullible if I can keep them tied up for awhile.

Same as everybody else.  I got multiple calls.  Heather from Account Services - Account Service Financial was the generic/bogus company name.

This time, I strung them along and got a website address from them:

    www.interestsavingstoday.com

This guy here at http://www.tacomaterritory.com/forum/showthread.php?t=90983 has the right idea!

    WHOIS tells us:
    Martniez, John  telecomforyou@yahoo.com
        Interest Savings Today
        675 Deltona Blvd
        Deltona, Florida 32725
        United States
        (386) 860-1037

The phone number in the WHOIS reverses to:
    Oldakowski, Teresa
    2332 Salem Dr
    Deltona, FL 32738

Where the address is tied to a real estate agent that expired 10 years ago:
    https://www.myfloridalicense.com/LicenseDetai ... 88BA3A3F6CFD643

The server IP address is 208.109.181.141, which is hosted at GoDaddy.  Let them know they're hosting a scammer that violates the DNC registry:

    OrgAbuseHandle: ABUSE51-ARIN
    OrgAbuseName:   Abuse Department
    OrgAbusePhone:  +1-480-624-2505
    OrgAbuseEmail:  abuse@godaddy.com

    Notes:
Owner is a yahoo email account.  Contact information on the site is an earthlink email account.  Wouldn't a legitimate INTERNET business actually use email that isn't free or from their ISP?  Losers!

They ask if you have room on one of your credit cards because they want to charge you $999 for these "services".  I literally hate those stupid enough to fall for this junk because it makes the scam viable enough for them to try it on the rest of us.  DIAF!!!

The caller named "Terry" says he is from "Debt Services." I am concerned that this outfit from Orlando is targeting older adults. Most definately a phishing scam.

Common factor in all their "activities":  Florida-based telemarketing operation routinely ignoring Do Not Call list, apparently supporting both in-house scams and associated businesses of questionable legitimacy.  Get your money up front, for "product" of questionable value, and hang onto it regardless.  Across all reports, under various names and phone numbers, payment by COD shipment, cashiers check, up front charge given your bank account information, legal threats, etc.  Amounts in the $280 to $600 range, depending.

This company sells bogus diet pills. They go by the name RX Pharmacy, US Pharmacy and actually sell for Nobilex of Lake Worth Florida. You must pay by COD. I paid $289.00 for worthless supplement.  Other #s they use is 1-407-207-0820. If I want a refund I need to provide a affadavit, my police record,Drivers License and THEY decide if I get a refund if they want to.

Hey, Nobilex victums.  My charge was 345.00.  I purchased a MO and missed ups.  So I took my MO to the ups pick up center.  It was 8:30 pm Friday nite.  When I got home and opened my package I was livid.  Some kind of worthless supplements.  I tried and tried to contact them.  2 numbers in different states.  but it was the same voice on both answer machines.  Well, I happened to turn the receipt of my MO over and read it.  They will STOP PAYMENT believe it or not.  It cost me 15 dollars  and 16 for overnite mail (my choice for expedition) but low and behold within the week guess what?  I got a check from Western Union for 345.  All I did was tell them it was a scam.  Now I have their worthless supplements and the Feds are on their tell Q!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Don 't be dishearted.  Work fast and do the right thing for yourself.  We can bankrupt these theives, no good scoundrels in a heart beat if we're smart and work fast.

you know if you want to order something from the IN you can get a paypal card (they are legit) for the exact amount you need.  if something happens, you may be out the money on the paypal card but scammers don't have your bank card or account number.  My husband taught me this trick.  Same nobilex victum as above.  but you get your money back with WU Money orders if you act fast.

Check the complaints about the number 866-908-8233 (belongs to RX Planet). I have been harrassed for 4 years by these idiots. I have tried EVERYTHING to get them to stop calling. WHY cant someone shut them down? Especially if their products are wrong.

If you got what YOU deserved - from the way you talk to people without knowing your  %%% from your big toe you would not have a single friend.

Hey normal, non -mark people, we have to stick together to stop the calls. The only reason Mark went to this website was to check on that number, so is he admitting that he bought drugs illegally? Tee Hee

"This is your last chance to lower your credit card rates". After a year, I finally pursued a complaint. Verizon referred me to the FTC (I had thought FCC) which also maintains the Do Not Call list. The FTC took my information and provided me with a case number to use for future calls. They requested a call each time. Complaints can be reported online or by phone. Use the "About a Company, an Organization, or a Business Practice" here:
    http://www.ftc.gov/ftc/contact.shtm

    The toll free number is 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357);

It's easy to make these people leave you alone.  There are only thirty or so of them. They will tell you they are in FL/NJ/GA etc..they are all there in Florida.  Most latin with heavy accents most male.  I called the numbers 866.414.6289 and 866.908.8233 and 866.216.3842 over and over and over, they will have caller ID, even if you block, no biggie, what are they going to report you?  I just called and every time they answer I just say hi, how are you over and over and over, finally they asked me to stop calling them.  it was really funny actually.  Another good thing to kill multiple reps at once, call them from a phone you can three way, call them, when it rings, conference in the second 866 number and before you know it you are listening to the two nasty telescam reps talking with eachother.  It was comical and entertaining...after all the times they called me, I finally figured out a way to get to them.  loved it!
