866-583-2819  Just like with everyone else, "Adrienne" called our house and left a message. She/He/It Spoke so fast that it was hard to make out most of the number or even the company name. We must have played the message back 10 times just to be able to understand it. We heard Bay, Data, Flash, garbled nonsense.

This is clearly a SCAM because my wife did NOT apply for ANY type of loan anywhere!

I WILL be reporting this call directly to the BBB, the FCC, as well as to the Office of the Attorney General - Edmund G. Brown Jr, as he handles complaints where this scam outfit is located.

Here's their info:

My wife also received a weird Loan Request TXT MSG from 70542 which is tied to 866-404-1181, which MIGHT be tied to this scam outfit as well.

We are on the Federal Do Not Call list, so we do NOT appreciate any type of Unsolicited Phone calls from ANY company, especially not at 5AM, Legit or Scam! They are clearly violating a Federal Law and will be reported to the proper Federal and State Organizations for doing such.

Luckily the wife and I are smart enough to check our Bank Accounts DAILY and our Credit Reports at least 2 times a year to avoid such Scams.

Complaint that they allowed someone to use a stolen identity.  Most likely they just lied when they aaid they "received my inquiry for a payday loan."  It is a common telemarketing ploy to claim YOU inquired with them when they know they are not scrubbing their call lists against the Do Not Call list in violation of the law.

That is why FTC does not base their Do Not Call suits on whether or not any particular complainant had requested contact.  They just look at whether the telemarketer has paid for the lists for the areas they are calling, as indicated by complaints.  No lists purchased, they lose.

If they are calling using an autodialed recording without asking you whether you want to listen to their message, in California they are violating California law.  They appear to be located in California, so if you are having problems with repeated recorded calls, contact the California Attorney General.
