JUST PLAIN UNETHICAL

I was charged $43 for a one-year automatic renewal.   I NEVER sign up for automatic renewals, never.   I called the phone number, 877-850-3217 NY, listed on the charge entry.  It was strictly voice response.   Eventually I got to the 'option' to cancel the order and did so.   6 weeks later, no credit.   Called the number again and punched '0' a lot, got a person who foisted me off to another number, the billing dept.  Got the billing dept who told me I had cancelled NEXT YEAR'S order, sneaky, sneaky.   Supposedly I will get my credit within 9 days now.  
Just plain unethical and terrible customer service.    I think I signed up through the OPRAH magazine site, never ever again.
