I received a letter from Customer Service at Women's Day Magazine. It said I renewed the magazine (which I wasn't even getting in the first place) and by doing so I was agreeing to automatic renewal of the magazine. A payment was now due for $8.56.  My supposed account number is 13-1265-7800. This subscription expires in December 2017 at which time they will automatically renew it again. I was recently involved in the same SCAM? with Glamour Magazine.  Please help me with this problem Caroll

and you don't owe for anything you didn't order.  The magazine business is full of this sort of marginal scamming.  Some of it appears to be from sleazy third party marketers who push "subscriptions" without any consumer agreement.

It is illegal.. replies to You didn't order it..
to send bills for unordered merchandise through the US Mail.  There's also no reason to play this game by their rules, when they have a record of problems in this area.

File a mail fraud complaint ..
with the US Postal Inspector, then send a letter to the publisher notifying them that you did NOT subscribe, and that you have therefore filed a mail fraud complaint to report their fraudulent "bill".  Be the mad nutcase who will go ballistic that they don't want to mess with, not the push-over sap they expect you to be.
