Welcome to the seamy side of internet commerce. Who is advocating for the consumer? I am a chronic news watcher and newspaper reader and never once have I heard any government agency address this chronic THEFT problem. And lo and behold, YEARS later from these initial posts and they're STILL doing it.

Wow! I just tried to find the web address for this company. They fraudulently charged me two months in a row for $14.95 for a credit report I never ordered. I called my credit card company to dispute the charges and the gal at Capital One asked if I had tried calling MNI credit report? I said no so she connected me on a three way call. The guy at MNI asked for my credit card number, my DOB and last 4 of my social. Then my email address. He said someone else ordered it. I asked for their email address but he said I would have to get a subpoena and fax it to them. Otherwise he couldn't give it to me. I realize now he was a liar and I should not have given him my other info. Now I feel even more violated! I cancelled that credit card and requested another from my credit card company. Don't give any info out to bogus MNI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
