Recently our company has been  receiving threatening phone calls from the company identifying themselves as Dallas County Sheriff office. They would call and state the employee needed to be serve with legal documents or arrest warrant has been issued due to alleged crime. We were asked what is our protocol on serving the documents and someone from the sheriff dept will be assisting.

After we refused to offer any information on the employees or allow the employees to be serve at work the call went really bad and nasty. The  threats started...  they will come anyway without our consent. After several attempt to get us to cooperate by using their threatening tactics and using Judicial system finally they would hang up and try calling to a different location, not knowing they would end up with me!!!!! Good Luck VOXEE INC, we are on to you and if you continue to harass us we will move forward with a harassment suit. We have you name and number recorded call for quality purposes.... Not legal!

    their phone number.  And, if you happen to have an address, that too.  In fact, whatever identification data you might have on them, I'd like to see it.

    Third party debt collection...what a scam.  I've said this several times before but, I don't care, I'll say it again:  The only good debt collector is an out of business one.

      They calle dme from 941-295-7164. Desiree Hall. Voxee, Inc. Wanted me to call back at 888-54687049. Called my work twice about 2 hours apart. They say they are coming to serve me legal documents at home and at work. I reported them to the Wisconsin Dept of financial institutions. It won't do any good without an address. I aske d for a physical address. They don't have one. I asked for a debt validation letter. They can't give one until I pay them with a prepaid credit card.

      Not happening in this lifetime.

    Your complaint is consistent with a fraudulent "debt collection" shakedown racket.
    Similar fraudulent threatening scripts were recovered in FTC's raids on the Corona Scam in 2011.
    Similar "process server" or officer impersonation tactics are used by most of these scams.

    This profile is consistent with a US based scam debt collector, unless they have Indian accents.
    Most of these scams are located in the Buffalo area, Florida, or southern California, but there are also several others in other parts of the country.  Typically, they attempt to reveal as little about their identities and location as possible, for obvious reasons.

    They are trying to extort one of your employees, using the implied threat of some fake "lawsuit" or possible "arrest and prosecution for fraud", or embarassment in front of coworkers or employer.    Highly illegal, violating federal FDCPA and state debt collection laws, but in this case it's also a felony to impersonate law enforcement.

    The use of illegal collection tactics implies there is something "uncollectable" about any alleged "debt", maybe really old and out of statute, maybe it was already paid or discharged in bankruptcy, maybe an illegal payday loan from an unlicensed lenderat usurous rates, maybe a faked "loan" by a fraudulent overseas "lender", maybe even no connection to the targetted victim, maybe totally fake and they simply found on Facebook that John Doe works for Spacely Sprockets.

    Do exactly what they tried to scare you away from:  Contact the FBI and the Sheriff's Department to report a phone extortion attempt with impersonation of a law enforcement officer.  They can track back through the phone company to the caller if they want to.

    Their multiple numbers, with a long history of complaints, suggests they are using VoIP phone service, common with both call centers and scammers trying to hide their identities.

    Here is "Voxee Enterprise Services" in Tempe AZ.
    Might be their VoIP telecom, if they didn't bother to change their caller id settings.
    Don't look very responsive (BBB rated "F"), but it would be easy for a Sheriff's detective to give them a call, just to ask who's behind the phone number.  Might get a business name and address (maybe this "United Pre-litigation").

    Might be this "United  Prelitigation out of Georgia".

    I been getting phone call from these idiot for a couple day now. They want my personal information. WTF. This bi*** sound sound African American and ghetto.

    I been reading conmplaint about  them. I cannot believe they have moron like these among us. If there are so many complaint, why are they still exist?

    Can someone tell me how to deal with them please? They are getting on my nerve.

    Just got a call from Voxee inc. I told them to stop calling my work they continued to call. He said that he was a processor and was going to serve me with paper work unless i called the firm. Then he gave me an 1866 number. He wanted to speak to my manager but she told me to tell him she is not interested. He said he was on his way to serve me and he needed to know my protocal at work. I told hime if you are a legal process server then you know the protocal. My manager yelled at him to stop calling but hi has not phone i sstill ringing now. He is such an idiot who calls some one to tell them they are about to serve them with papers.

    SOME [***] CALLED ME TONITE 10 TIMES TELLING ME I NEED TO CALL A NO. AND GIVE THEM A CLIENT NO. BECAUSE SHE IS SENDING A TEAM TO MY HOUSE. SHE SAID I HAVE SERIOUS CHARGES I TOLD HER TO TELL ME FROM WHOM AND SHE WENT ON TO THREATEN I HUNG UP SHE CALLED BACK AND SAID IT DOES NO GOOD TO HANG UP YOU HAVE BEEN OFFICIALLY NOTIFIED AND YOU WILL BE SERVED HUNG UP AND SHE CALLED 8 TIMES LET IT RING 1 TIME AND HUNG UP EACH TIME. CRAZY

    Received a call from 214 477 4826, called my number had the wrong number & got up set because I didn't give my name. When calling number back recording states calls can't be accepted. I think this is fraud. I can' t wait to give them a piece of my mine.

    A Pete Adam has called with a claim, ph # 3134161749, a Ms Harris called since Yesterday at least 10 times  they both request to speak to manager, administrator, they want address, phone #'s to serve claim at place of work. Today Ms Harris leaves a mssg (after hanging up several times) that "at this point i have verified your address to present you with your formal document". Of course there was more but the gest was I better call her back. The ph # she had was 3134161753. They leave a 8773846423 # to call back to. Claim #'s change to.  They need to stop this type of harrassment. To be honest, how do we know what type of people these are. I have had India accents, Arab accents, White people, Black people calling and they threaten you, your job. This is illegal and it is like you are being terrorized at home and at work.  Any company using these people should be put out of business. Just for the record, I have not listed all the calls from this Voxee, Inc that I have gotten. They are all A**HOLES!!!!!.  They must be STOPPED!!!

    I believe i am being scammed by Voxee  with call saying that I will be served documents for loans. I have no outstanding loans. I notified the Police dept and the FTC. This has happened twice before to me very unset.They call at my place of employment and say they will show up document. Also leaving a clam # this is not legal they are scamming the elderly people with the harassment calls . Please stop the Scams.

    I received a called from this company Audrina Flores very rude making threathing statement that her office has received officially paper work against me it had been notified it have 1 chance to contac them.Also called my place of employment left a VM for my manager to verify my employment address and home address to served paperwork. I had file a report with FTC they just continue calling non stop and making threats I cursed her out and told her not to call me anymore. if she is going to serve me to go ahead and do it I also told her if I loose my job because of there non stop calling and harassment I am going to sue them that is illegal totally calling 10 times a day and harassing me.

    Ben Segal called from 904-758-4031 (Voxee, Inc) said he was gonna serve for charges filed against me. I file complaint with FTC. Same thing back in 2012, but different names and numbers. He gave 1-866-396-6078. They are still saying their name is Global Firm. That's the same name they gave in 2012 when they wouldn't give me an address. I filed a complaint back then with FTC and FL Attorney General. How are these people still operational?

    They called my sister in law and my ex-husbands wife in behalf of my brother saying they were with the State of Texas investigation agency. Saying they were going to issue a warrant for his arrest. That was so much fun trying to explain to my ex. They call people not even related to him on their cell phones and not his immediate family- red flag for scam! How do I get this to stop so they don't harass my ex and his wife(not sure how understanding he will be about this)

    My wife got a call from VOXEE, Steve Rogers, saying he was with a group of credit card companies that help older people with money to the turn of $10,000.00 every 90 days IF you pay a small UPFRONT FEE WITH A VALID CREDIT CARD FIRST! What kind of idiots do these fools think they are dealing with? The Feds and Texas has a place for these people if we can figure out how to get them there!!!!!

    This number has called multiple times, I answer and hear nothing on the opposite side besides heavy breathing. This is ridiculous and it needs to stop. Total scam !!!!
