I made the mistake of answering today just so I could see who it was. They call a couple of times a day and never leave a message. Wouldn't tell me how they got my number or what they wanted. Rude people.

    They should at least have told you who they were trying to reach.

    They should also have notified you that they were a debt collector, and that any information they got would be use to collect a debt.

    File a complaint with FTC for phone harassment by a debt collector.
