I am a college student, and I have no credit cards.
I have tried so many freaking times to talk to a manager (get hung up on), put on the do not call list (get hung up on). Anything i try to do, I get hung up on. I'm ready to scream.
I've been called from :

(310-895-0574
347-218-0531
those are just from the past week.
Ive been called from at least 30 different numbers. Most of them when you call them back they say they have been disconnected but some like the 347 number when you call back, it goes to the cell phone but its turned off and the mailbox of "service" is full. I have had it up to here with these guys. I'm ready to scream and it needs to stop.

    If you did have credit cards, they would try to fabricate an excuse for charging you about $800, supposedly for "fees for reviewing your accounts to see if they could lower your rates".

    It's a fraudulent telemarketing scam.

    They don't care about Do Not Call violations, since the same tactics they use to hide from prosecution also hide them from Do Not Call actions.

    File Do Not Call complaints with FTC.,

    Also contact your telecom company to file a complaint.  Tell them that if they can't rein in this fraudulent spam, you are going to shut off your phone service.

      Ookay, I just filed a complaint. I think they got the picture.
      But i can guarantee even if i registered on the do not call list, Ill still get called.

    The "Do not call list" does nothing but provide a list to every telemarketer and says do not call these numbers ...
    there are no penalties in place and no enforcement of the do not call list.
    Kind of like giving candy to a child and saying do not eat it.
    I never got telemarketing calls until I signed up for the do not call list registry. I report each call...   nothing stops so l assume nothing is done.
