I decided to book a skydiving date for my wife's 30th birthday and we googled skydiving and this company came up. I was connected to a call center in Atlanta GA. I was intending to go skydiving in LODI, CA. I spoke with a very friendly operator who was charming and very comprehensive about the policies and such. The call was recorded. One tandem jump was charged at 175.99 usd. When we arrived at the skydiving place which was

They were a super awesome facility. Everyone there was beyond awesome and they provided some excellent amazing skydiving. Laid back and super fun.
I found out that skydiving there only costs $100 dollars. NOT $175.99. NOT $175.99.
The skydive center told me that http://Sportations.com also know as Adventure Outdoors and 10 other url's has pretty much bought all of the search criteria on google and that 80 percent of the time when you google skydiving that you get connected to them, then they double charge you.
They are not to be trusted unless you want to be needlessly charged lots of extra money for no reason.
If you are intending on booking skydiving, call the facility that you are going to, not a booking service.
They offer no refunds. SERIOUS RIP OFF ALERT.
1800 skydive is another one of their aliases.
Here is another example of Sportations, aka 1800skydive, aka Thrillride, aka Headband being awfull

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!
http://Sportations.com is a scam! They advertise to offer skydiving and other "Extreme" sports at locations all over America, but in reality, they are ONLY in Cedartown, Ga. The business name "Sportations" is ONLY a cover name for another well known company name of "1 800 Skyride" which is the parent company.
1 800 Skyride just recently lost a court case in Arizona for several million dollars for fraudulent advertising, trademark infringement and other deceptive business practices. The state of Connecticut is also looking at pursuing legal action because they have websites that claim to offer skydiving in Connecticut, but they DO NOT have any such location!
The city of Nashville, Tn. just recently prosecuted and won a case against 1 800 Skyride for vandalizing roadway signs and other government property such as stop signs.

Sportations Tandem Skydiving is a Rip-Off and a SCAM. For a Christmas gift I bought 3 tandem jumps. The gift certificate says good trough 11/29/11. The week of October 9th I called and scheduled the jump for today, Thursday, 11/20/11. Last night I got a call from them saying the forecast was windy for today and to call this morning at 9AM I did, they said call back at 11 (the jump was for 3:00). I called and they said the jump was cancelled because of the wind. When I booked the jump date I was offered videos of our jump for $95 if I paid then - otherwise $125 at their airport. I charge the video fees. After being told our jump was cancelled I was told that they were sold out for the rest of the season. And that the video fees were non-refundable. I have spent over $500 - NONE if which is refundable. I am now going have my father call Visa with whom as a business man who travels world wide, charges over $100,000 on Visa annually. I BET he can get these creeps to refund my money.
