Needed Immediate Health Insurance

I was in a situation where my contracted job was coming to an end and feel ill. Needed Immediate Health Insurance for an out=patient procedure. While discussing the Health insurance plans with the representative, I continually inquired about not having any additional charges than the Co-pay of $50 and was reassured that the only expensive would be the co-pay. My job is ending in 4 weeks, and I now have an additional upcharge of $800. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. What a joke. Now I can't even pay my bill and cancel the insurance. Thank God I did not get COVID and was actually hospitalized.
