Beware of messages from strangers. They are usually associated with some sort of "con" or scam.
In the last week, there has been a burst of complaints on this site of scam-associated text messages to Macedonia, along with apparent "shill" posts attempting to create the perception that they are "legitimate". This implies that this area is being targetted by someone in a fraudulent scheme based on sending out massive numbers of text messages to lure in victims.
Do not be a victim. Do NOT respond to text messages from strangers. The are fraudulent.
