Called my work, and said he was a friend of my family.  Then, he stated that he and his wife had been threatened and were harassed by this collection company.  Turns out the agent was the one who called pretending to be a family friend.  He then told the secretary not to say anything to me, justto give me the toll free number and case number..this is illegal.

    Deceptive calls, making an implied threat, including some "case number" to imply a "lawsuit" or "investigation", and a phone number to call back, is consistent with a fake "debt" shakedown racket.

      This guy is unreal!  I hope I run into him some day... Here's another number he's using:

      910-808-4472

      He's also using a 206 area Code.  Guess it's another trick to get you to answer, calling using a local area code.

        VoIP is real popular with scams these days.

        They can change their numbers so many times they get around call blocking, and the calls look like a local call, so people answer thinking they might be a friend or relative.

    This has happened to me for the last two days. I dont know how to get them to stop. They are talking about a loan that I 'supposely' took out in 2010 but they could not give me any information about it and the guy from the locator Travis Tucker is extremely rude. Any help to stop this would be great cause they blow up my cell phone and work phone.

    Just a bunch of fakes.

      Name: "Consolidated Collection Agency", is real generic.
      You can find multiple similar listings with Google, but none use this phone number.

      Phone number only shows up in complaints, not even on any on-line yellow pages sites.
      Based on their script style and recent similar complaint activity, they might be in the Buffalo Area.

      Note that in one complaint they use the "mediation" cover story, attempting to sound like a "law firm".  Also note the reported threats of implied prosecution.


      BBB shows this, with an alert that mail was returned undeliverable.
      Fax number, but no phone number.
      Address might be a maildrop.
      File opened 2006, so this may not even be the same company.

    Called to say that she had a claim in her office against my husband and wasnted him to get on the phone upon further investigation she claimed he had taken out a loan which he did not.  These peopleare relentless and they are liars and scammers I am waiting for her to call back.....when you answert they use you first name like they know you BEWARE!!!!! it is a scam
