IN JUNE  OF 08 I PURCHASED A SLEEPER SOFA FROM A LOCAL FURNITURE STORE THAT WAS MADE BY ENGLAND FURNITURE.  I TOO WAS TOLD IT IS A DIVISION OF LAZY BOY. WE CAN HARDLY SIT ON IT, YOU SINK DOWN AND THE CUSHIONS HAVE FLATTENED. ONCE YOU ARE ON IT YOU CAN'T GET UP!!!I CALLED THE LOCAL FURNITURE STORE AND THEY SAID THEY WILL REPLACE THE FOAM IN THE CUSHIONS WHEN THEY GET THE ORDER FROM ENGLAND.  BUT AFTER READING THIS WEB SITE I AM WONDERING IF THAT WILL HELP AT ALL!!!

In April of 07 we purchased the Malibu sofa system which includes a sofa bed. The cushions did not even last 6 months and I needed to have them replaced and the cushion backs I have had to re-stuff three times.I purchased the furniture on the quality that England furniture used to signify and does not do so anymore.I spent over $2,600.00 on it and I would trade it in for a much cheaper sofa that I could replace every two to three years instead. The arms on the sofa do not have enough cushioning on the and you can feel the wood frame through the material. I am so sick at heart because now I have a piece of junk sitting in my newly remodeled family room that I have to go to another furniture store (since England has closed the store here and sofa's plus now represents them) and argue for new cushions that last 6 months. I NEED some recourse!!!!! Poor quality!!! Do not buy!!!!

We purchased a leather sofa, loveseat, and chair from England back in '05.  Product looked good and held up fine until just recently, when spring in loveseat broke.  We saved all our receipts and warranty information, and the spring is supposed to be covered until August of this year, but can't seem to get anyone at England to take action on the repair.  The store we bought from closed, and the next nearest location either ignores my phone calls or tells me they'll get back with me and then don't.  Product was satisfactory, customer service has been extremely poor, and don't know if I'll ever be able to rate their repair work at this rate.

I too have a sofa sleeper made by England which is part of the LazyBoy Co., and have had numerous problemxs with the cushions crushing down.  Staring right after I bought the sofa back in Dec. 2004.  Over the years since buying this I have had to contact the store (Raymour & Flannigan) several times to have the cushions replaced.  This piece of furniture was by not means cheap in cost  - BUT EXTREMELY CHEAP IN QUALITY......  What has happened to craftsmanship with the Lazy Boy Company????????????????

Robin, with a purchase dating back to 2004, you should expect some loss of resilency with the cushion foam.  The good news is that England has a 10 year warranty on seat cushion foam.  Over the years we have offered a couple of different versions of seat foam and if you will contact me directly, I will assist you with a higher density foam core.  I can be reached at 423-626-5211 ext 1306 or philp.arnold@englandfurniture.com.

Well it's 2011 and I still have the same issues that I have had since we bought the Malibu sectional. The cushions have flattened out again, the arms of the sofa are hard as a rock as  the padding is almost non-existent there. I paid $106.00 to sofa's plus to have the arms repadded. Also now sofa's plus has closed thier doors so were do I go to now to have repairs done. The seams toward the back of the sofa are coming apart also, it looks as though they used fabric glue to attach the seams. Why can't companies make a product they can be proud of, if I made this sectional I would not be proud of my work (or is this old school thinking)

I just love my Barcelona contemporary chaise and chair.  I can't seem to find out what company manufactured the fabric which is a geometric pattern in blue, red, green check.  I have had these pieces of furniture in my living room for almost 8 years.  I have given a homeless dog a home and she has torn some of the fabric.  I need to replace the seats of both and some of the lower edge of the chaise.  I also need to replace the foam core for both pieces.  Please help me, I have called many places and really love my furniture.  I have read complaints on the sofas, but I couldn't be happier with mine.  It has had extremly harsh use and still looks like the day it was delivered. Thanks for making such high quality items.
