DEFECTIVE WASHING MACHINE

I recently purchased a Whirlpool front loader in August 2011, not even a year ago. We have always noticed that it stinks like mold and we use excessive Downey to get rid of the smell, but it often does not work. In addition, the entire inside broke, and the repairman said that this happens all the time, and that this is a defective machine. He said it will need to be fixed over and over again. When it first started having problems, it sounded like an airplane was taking off, then it destroyed an expensive sleeping bag, literally eating it. We are waiting over a week and are told it will be another week to get the parts and have it fixed. We are going 2 weeks without a washing machine, as a family of 6. I have 4 young children. This is UNACCEPTABLE! I paid $850 for this machine to avoid problems, so I could have top of the line. Lowe's is of absolutely no help. I also purchased a 4 year warranty, and still, I have to go through this. The machine should be replaced. I am so furious. I will never purchase a whirlpool appliance, nor anything from Lowe's store ever again. This needs to be fixed. I am happy to join a class action lawsuit, but I am not sure where to start.
