For example, this "American Institute for Cancer Research" shows only about 31% of money raised going to program purposes, with the rest to fundraising and overhead.

By comparison, the well known American Cancer Society shows about 70% of money raised going to program purposes rather than fundraising or overhead.

I am 80 yrs. old. I want no mailings or calls from you in your unrelenting efforts for donations. Trust me; you will not get another nickel from me. In fact, I consider your organization's attempts to inundate me with unwanted calls and mailings invasive, inappropriate and inexcuseable. Clearly you are unresponsive to my previous requests to remove my name from each and every list I may be on....the latest "personal" communique coming from a 'Marilyn Gentry', whomever in the world that may be.
Good luck with your continual pestering of other potential donors. There will certainly never be a contribution from me ever again.
Why are my repeated requests to STOP/CEASE/DO NOT CALL/DO NOT SEND MAILINGS ignored? I continue to receive monthly solicitations, a continuing source of irritation which only increases with each plea for money. I have kept each and every communication from you since Jan. '13. Continuing with these unwanted mailings only increases my agitation for your organization. How can you possibly think there will be any positive response coming from these mass mailings when an adament request to STOP IT has been blantantly ignored? In my opinion, The American Institute for Cancer Research (aka. Willful Cancer Fighters) is right up there at the top of the list as the worst offender who uses the mails for contribution purposes.

American Institute Cancer Research - I have collected money for this organization for many years.
I,am retired and don't have money for stamps and don't want to bother with this anymore.
Please stop calling !!!!!!!! You will only get a message"sorry can't help you bye" have but on do not call list.
Honestly, I had nothing to lose and it had to stop- I had used my call blocker and every day they recalled with a new number- just dirtbags. Because of the one ring, they knew I had a blocker. So I had nothing to lose- they knew my name and phone number. They have an opt out do not call list- I never give out my number, but they had it and could share it anyway. So I went to the opt out and opted out. If it happened again, I am going to our state attorney general and start a facebook page to report them.
