These people have been harrassing me for a year.  I never signed up for their service. Numerous calls from them insisted that if I would give my address they would send me and ingvice that I could cancel.  They do not even have my address correct on the invoice.  I even tried to find the advertising they claimed they had on the internet.  There was no advertising for my business on any public yellowpages web site.  I will not pay their faxed invoce .

They usually fax, to avoid mail fraud charges from sending a fraudulent invoice thorugh the mail.

They are a well known scam, probably run from a call center in the Montreal Canada area.

You might also be contacted by a NJ debt collector that specializes in fraudulent debt collection.

Ignore their threats.  They are a really well known scam.

File fraud complaints with FTC, your state AG, and at www.ic3.gov
If you receive a fraudulent invoice, file a mail fraud complaint with the U.S. Postal Inspector.

In fact, it looks like they are using Regus, which sells "virtual office" services in various locations around the country, apparently providing receptionist/answering service (and presumably mail forwarding) to clients.

Why don't you file fraud complaints against them with FTC, the NY AG, and the Postal Inspector,  for "aiding and abetting" a fraudulent extortion racket.
