I had a recall on My Wonderful Maytag Dishwasher. It cleaned like no other I had. I wish I didn't do the recall at all not. This machine that was a real Maytag and not owned by worlpool when i purchased it had acutally heated up the water in the wash cycle not the dry cycle. Therefore I had cleaner dishes really. I need this due to getting constantly ulcerations on my hands due to raynauds. Now i followed worlpool info and set up appt with A and E repair for this recall and this is what happened. he opened the bottom and took door apart. now there were lots of electrical wires. He got a bad shock in my house. He said this wire he was using was not supposed to be live. I saw so many electrical wires i couldn't believe it. I said should you of tested it first, he said no, it is not supposed to be live. He is not a licensed electrician at all. HOW COULD A LARGE CO. LIKE WORLPOOL SEND A AND E REPAIR ME MY HOUSE TO DO ELECTRICAL WORK IF HE IS NOT LICENSED. WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF AT A LATER DATE I HAD A FIRE. IT IS CLEAN HE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING. NOW HE FINISHED THE JOB AFTER TAKING MY DOOR COMPLETELY APART AND PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER. NOW MY DOOR BOED SO MUCH THAT I COULD SEE IT THAT WAY FROM ACROSS THE ROOM. THE DOOR WOULDN'T CLOSE. YOU HAD TO PUSH IT TO CLOSE LIKE YOU ARE MOVING FURNITURE. I COULD HARDLY DO THIS. HE SAID THIS IS WHAT I HAVE TO DO NOW. I WAS ALSO AFRAID IT WOULD LEAK NOW. WELL HE LEFT AND I ALREADY WAS NOT HAPPY WITH WHAT I SEE. I PUT THE DISHWASHER ON AND IT RATTLED. I HAVE FOUND OUT AFTER THAT THEY ARE NOT LICENSED TO DO ELECTRICAL WORK. THIS SHOULD BE REPORTED TO THE ELECTRICAL CODE DEPT. AS I KNOW NOW. THIS GUY DIDN'T KNOW ELECTRICAL TO BE DOING THIS AND HE DIDN'T KNOW MAYTAG REGULAR REPAIRS. MY DISHWASHER THAT I DID SO MUCH RESEARCH BEFORE PURCHASING IS NO GOOD. NOW WORLDPOOL REPLACED IT AND THE MACHINE SMELLS AFTER EACH WASH FROM DAY 1 AND STILL DIES AFTER EACH WASH. IT ALSO DOESNOT WASH THE DISHES GOOD AT ALL. A AND E MUST BE CHEAP FOR THIS CO TO USE THEM. THEY BOTH SHOULD GET INTO TROUBLE
