Square deactivated my account no notice

After using Square for over a year with zero problems, today I attempted to charge a customer card and Square would not accept the charge.  I signed into my account and it said "account permanently deactivated." There was no notice, nothing.   I always thought highly of Square - but now.  No way....I am convinced they are no better than PayPal or Intuit.  Horrible way to conduct business.  I hope they go under.   If you are thinking of signing up with Square - read my post and others who have been unfairly treated.   If you still sign up then don't cry when they cut you off with no notice....

    I ran into this same exact issue today....tried to run a card, told me to activate my account. Logged in online and it tells me my account has been permanently deactivated and won't give any additional details...

      That happened to me in august. It said 90 days later my funds would be transferred to my bank account. Did you get your funds 90 days later?

    SAme here, I just notice my account has been permanently deactivated and won't give any additional details...Monthly I proccess over 8k in transaction an today my account has ben deactivate...I had read a lots of complains from other people.

    They just de-activated my account as well, no notice and no way to get ahold of them except some sad excuse for a auto-reply email saying they will get back to me.. Company is crap!

    Same thing.  No deposit today for nearly a grand.  Signed in to find out why and account permanently deactivated.  Bull [***]!!!  Charges were authorized!  This is organized fraud on their part.

    found out today my acct for my business was deactivated today no reason, cant call them , have been going back and fourth with them on twitter, they claim they cant call someone who doesn't have a active acct, well no [***]. has anyone received their money ?  or is square just keeping it .

    square deactivated my account for my business today for no reason and told me i wont get my money until march

    Square dectivated my acct on 3/29. Within the last 30 days the 633.00 they froze  has disspeared. How do we go about getting this money back. Anyone know?
