Rust on whirlpool ss refrigerator

I reluctantly bought a whirlpool last dec 2015. Very close afterword noticed rust, now it's multiplied and on the doors, on the side of the refrigerator. It's awful. I've had both a ss kitchen aide and ge neither of those ever had any problems with rust. Super unhappy and will never buy a whirlpool anything again. How can kitchen aide be so good and whirlpool be so bad if they are owned by the same co? Definitely not the same product
