    Proceed as follows..
File a written dispute with Experian against the erroneous information, mailed certified.
Notify them that you did not open this account, and that it is fraudulent.

File a fraud alert with any of the 3 CRAs, in case someone is using your identity information to open fraudulent accounts.  This also entitles you to a free credit report from each of the CRAs (separate from the free annual reports required by law).

If Experian doesn't remove the error, file an identity theft complaint with your local police department, and get a copy of the police report.  Use this to dispute the account as fraudulent with both Fingerhut, Experian, and any of the other CRAs that show it.  CRAs have a finite period of time to respond to FCRA/FACTA disputes.

If you have problems, contact your state Attorney General for assistance.  You may also be able to sue for violations of FCRA/FACTA, and there are attorneys who take such cases on contingency.  You can find a consumer attorney in your state through www.naca.net
