Pay Day Loans

I received a call a year ago from a foreigner stating that I am being sued for a Payday loan that was deposited into my account and I never re-payed. I explained to this person that I have never had a payday loan and that the account they are referring to has been closed for sometime now. That was last year. This morning I receive an email with no phone numbers attached or a point of contact with the subject line reading " Settlement Notice". In the body of the email it contains no information about the company I allegedly received a loan from and asking for me to pay $1099 today or they will submit the request to collect to the Courts and my employer. Total BS seeing how I have NEVER had a payday loan in my life! I need to make sure this fraud does not affect my lively hood. Has anyone from these other complaints received a point of contact to get clear of these swindlers?
