Both Budget Savers and TLG  took unauthorized amounts from our checking account.  TLG did a refund but Budget Savers refused.

Basically, my husband got a fast talking person asking him to participate in a club that would get him a gas card for $100.  He called me and we both tried to cancel out.  They said that we had to wait for 4 to 7 days when our paperwork came and then we could cancel.  When the paperwork came we called and cancelled the account.  They gave us a transaction number.  Then one week later TLG took 19.95 out of our checking account.  I called and they returned the amount.  Two days later Budget Savers did the same  thing only for 24.95 and we called them.  They said we had to apply for a refund, gave us a cancellation number and said they would send a form to fill out.  At this point we called our bank and showed them all the complaints we had found on line as well.  

Our bank closed the account and moved us to a new account.  I got a form for applying for a cancellation form from Budget Savers.  They are a joke.
I doubt we will ever get  cent from them.

    Dispute fraudulent charges through your bank, and block the card number ro close the account due to fraud, to prevent additional fraudulent charges.  Follow up your dispute IN WRITING, with a written dispute or fraud affidavit sent to your bnak's dispute address.  Your bank can reverse charges disputed within 60 days of the statement date showing the disputed charges, under FRB Reg. E for checking account debit cards or EFT, or under FCBA for credit cards.

    If you let them run out the 60 day dispute window with promises, you will get stuck.  In addition, if you keep your account open, or fail to block your card number, you may get additional fraudulent charges.

    they took 29.95 our of my account.They closed my account but didnot refund.  This is really bad and could hurt a lot of people-   Never received anything they promised and never will.  Could not even get on their WEB SITE  BEWARE

    TLG Great Fun is REALLY fun. They are a bunch of crooks. Is there really nothing we can do? How the hell can they steal money from our accounts AFTER we cancel membership?

    I cancelled my account with SEM BUDGET SAVERS and they are still taking money from my account. I went to the website and could not get a number to reach them at. They took 29.95 out of my account also.
    I never receive anything from them also.

    I got letters telling me that they were charging my acct. I immediately called great fun first to cancel and the guy kept trying to fast talk me. I told him that I didnt care what he was offering and that I didnt want it. He cancelled and I had him give me a cancellation #. He said that he couldnt give me my dollar back and kept trying to fast talk me. I asked him for a mgr. He kept putting me on hold, saying that he was waiting on someone, then he said the mgr was tied up. I told him that I work in a call center and knew the tricks and to get me a mgr asap. mgr-carmen beverly came on the phone, she credited my 1.00, took me off of their do not call list and I also demanded that a cancellation letter be sent. she said that it would come in 7 days. I threatened to dispute charges if I got any.they also do customer service for shoppers advantage, she deleted and credited for this also.  I called budget savers to cancel as letter came today and they were going to charge me tomorrow. They cancelled and I got the cancellation #. I asked for a letter and  they insist that they dont send one. I asked for a mgr-catherine and told her to take me off of whatever lists they have. I will dispute and report. I bought a  instyler online which is where all of this started. I had to call them 3 times to get all the info that i needed, so called mgr chris was rude.

    I am going to my bank account and I see a 29.95 charge , this is a fraud. Iam going to my bank to put a complain.
