I would like to make you all aware of what you are buying and who you are dealing with when you purchase a jetboard. I am an ex jetboard dealer myself who has had multiple problems with the jetboard product. When buying my jetboard I was told that all jetboards are assembled in Australia and are checked 3 times before they are delivered to the customer. This was defiantly not the case with my board. When I received my board there was a hole in the piston, 2 missing engine mounts, a faulty electric system and fuel lines connected the wrong way. When Jetboarder was told about this I was told
“I do not believe you”
and was advised that all jetboards are checked 3 times before leaving the factory in Australia. After checking my air way bill I found that my board had never touched Australian soil. It was sent out of China. I checked the address and found that it was the same address of the Cotrum factory. A company that produce a product called a Power Jetboard the best way for me to describe this product is to say it’s like a jetboard without jetboarder stickers. They have 2 models the normal power jetboard and the sporting power jetboard that come in white, yellow and blue. Prices start at $900 US for one board with trolley and come down significantly in price depending on how many you buy. After asking Chris at jetboarder about this I was advised that I would not be able to purchase any boards from that factory. Like most things that Chris advises me this is not true anyone is allowed to purchase boards from this factory. This is why I have a lot of problems believing that this is a quality Australian assembled product not a cheep Chinese one and get quite offended when it is advertised as “Australian assembled”. I am from Denmark and have a Jetboard where the fin boxes are missing, and have tried to get some from Chris Kanyaro the last year, with no luck.
The board runs fine, but can sail without the finns, does anyone know where i can get these fin boxes?

If there is anyone who has worked for us and not been paid, then please get in contact with us. (again if this was true you would have gone to the authorities about this.
The piston story is an old one used by Ben Gibson. Most websites have removed this because it is just so ridiculous.

For two years (17/5/2011) we have been trying to collect money from you. We completed design and printing work in a mad rush for your to be ready for your trade show at Sanctuary Cove QLD, this included at least two nights work past midnight so you could be ready for your trade show. We spent many more hours then what we charged you for and you think 10 months later it is OK to make a part payment of $350?
The invoice only totaled $631.82 and over two years later you still have not settled your account. I wonder how many other people you have done this to. If you cant afford to pay for things, then don't buy them!
You continually hang up on my phone calls or do not answer.
You can list your phone number and email address as much as you like, it doesn't take from the fact that your are a shark and should be avoided!
What a great disappointment it has been for us to have ever had any dealings with you.

It took police intervention to stop your calls.
Send me an email with your invoice, and we will settle this and have these comments removed.

I have been the ongoing victim of a cyber troll and fraudster called Ben Gibson from Jetsurf. This Ben Gibson from Jetsurf is a professional scammer and cyber troll. And has scammed many people over the years with his Jetlev and Jetsurf scam.

I had difficulty riding the board and told Chris. He jumped on a plane and spent a day with me showing me how to ride it... We had a good day.
I later contacted Chris about spare parts as there was no distributor in Adelaide. He sent.me a box with filters etc. I paid for them of course but everything was fair and reasonable.
That was a few years ago so I don't know if things have changed but my dealings with Chris were good.
