SCAM

We have been members of Direct Buy for about a week now. IT IS A RIP OFF. Run away from any open house invitations you may receive.Once you sign the contract, there is no turning back. YOU CAN NOT get your money back, so we decided that we have to use it. Other reviews stated that if you are doing a major purchase you will save $$$$$$, we decided to install granite counter tops,We had an independent dealer come and give us an estimate, then we got our estimate from Direct Buy. The independent was cheaper, with more service included in the price, so we have paid our membership dues and we are using the independent, what sense does that make.. We choose to buy our new kitchen faucet thru Direct buy, picked out the one we wanted, drove to Home Depot to actually see it, and Home depot was cheaper, Direct Buy sent us an e-mail of the SPECIAL PURCHASE that they were running, 10 piece wolfgang puck cooking set $99.00, we just happened to be in BJ's at the time and low and behold a 14 piece wolfgang puck cooking set was also $99.00. They don't have the flatware set that we want, etc. I can not WARN you enough, they DO lie, they mislead and it is not as easy a process as they claim. It is a scam, just run the other way. I am so sorry that we joined, I could have done a hell of alot more with the membership fee that they charge, and speaking of the membership fee, get this: They offer you the gold package at $5000 or the silver package ( dont know how much that is) which you can not buy home improvement items in the silver package, So when we told them NO, they miraculously came up with the Gold package for 3 years for $3500. They don't offer that to you up front ( another red flag) Haven't purchased a single thing yet, DON'T  BECOME A MEMBER, it's not woth the $$$.
