Unsolicited phone call

Complaint

During the past year I have received many (double-digit) phone calls from "Card Member Services", saying in effect that "there is not a problem at the moment with your card but you are advised to call.....".
I have spoken to a number of different people but when I tell them to remove my name from their list, they simply hang up.
I received another call this morning, and the 069 call check indicated the number as 1-978-570-2309.
I'm fed up with these people and would like to know how I can officially complain about their unwarranted persistence.

i got one too! same number! first, get on the FTCs do not call registry. while you're doing that, file a complaint as they use automated dialers, which is illegal and it's a total scam! https://www.donotcall.gov/register/reg.aspx

Their pitch, "there is not a problem at the moment with your card but you are advised to call.....", deceptively implies they have some connection with one of your credit card companies, which is false..

Complaints against that number include numerous reports of Do Not Call violations, "auto warranty" scams, fraudulent caller id claiming to be "VISA Rewards", "lower your interest rate" scams, etc.

Put your number on the Do Not Call list, and file complaints with FTC.

This is a scam. Hang up and file a complaint with the FCC.

Just got a call from 1-978-570-2309.  The caller ID says UTILITY.  A person asks for (my mothers name) and I say "this is she" and he hangs up!  I mean, why call?  How annoying!  Our # is registered with do not call list, I will go there and report them.  Everyone else should do the same it is quick and easy.

Just got a call from 1-978-570-2309.  The caller ID says UTILITY.  I pick up and they hang up.  We need to pass a law that phone solicitation is OUTLAWED - PUNISHABLE WITH A PRISON SENTENCE OF NO LESS THEN THE REST OF THEIR MISERABLE LIVES!!!!!!!!!!!  I am so sick of these people and I am on the Do Not F...ing Call List.

I'm so tired of calls from this company - how does one go about making a complaint to the FCC? Somehow they got my cell # and telling them not to call back makes them call back 5 mins later (unlike if I ignore the call they just don't call back for a week).

Folks..I know it seems wrong to have to spend money to block dbags like this company, but I bought a ring controller from JFTeck and it works great.  I got one call from card services and have peace of mind knowing my phone will never ring again from their calls.  It does work.
