samsung tv stoped working when direct tv receiver was conected

On June 22 2012  your technician came to my house to I stall  direct, he was done with the cables n pro seed to conect the TVs  he did the living room  finish left to program and went to connect my kitchen TV by the time he connected the receiver smoke was camping out of it and also my TV smelled like it was burning something he said my box but and I said my TV is not working any more.
