Yellowpages.com called me out of the blue and asked a few questions about my business, next thing I know they were calling me and sending notices saying I owed them hundreds of dollars for "advertising" for my small business. I never gave approval or agreed to advertise for them. I do not even know what the ad would look like. They play back a recording of their phone call to me where I confirm my name and address and that I own my business and ask me if this is how I want to be "invoiced."
They then call back 6 times in a morning saying that if I do not pay $200+ I will owe over $800. I hung up and they called back immediately- all from a number which is "unavailable."
I am filing complaints with Consumer Protection and the FCC and any one else for this harassing behavior. All of this from a company owned by AT&T.
I recommend that everyone cancel their AT&T services for phone, cable and internet.

Comments
If they claim to be with "yellowpages.com" or "ATT", that is probalby false, and just part of their scam.
The fraudulent billing scams have impersonated legitimate telecoms before.
What have you received from them in writing, or are they just hassling you by phone?
