Good for you!
For telling this assjack where to go. Read here: https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-713-931-9801 They're even showing up on 800notes and you have to be, basically, wandering around with a glow-in-the-dark sign on your forehead that reads "I'm a fraudster" to get 800notes to notice. Here's what I can tell you: A lot of this stuff comes from somewhere outside of the US. But, there is some here - ex-cons on release with a couple of nickels to rub together so that they can rent a PO Box and keep a tracfone for a month or two until the payday rolls in. Hold on to that phone number and contact the FTC, your state's Attorney General, the Consumer Protection Agency, and the Secret Service. If they thought that they might get you to 'pay your debt' (tongue firmly planted in cheek here...) with something like an iTunes card, or one of those pay-as-you-go Visa cards, they (the Secret Service) might want to know.
