Country: South Africa
My name is Silvia Otero, the owner of Space by Design in South Africa. This is not only a scam they are cloning full websites and hosting them.
We've traced that our website was cloned an now company called Terri Rolf Designs is using it www.terrirolfdesigns.com
Our website (www.spacebydesing.co.za) was design and hosted locally in 2010 by Metis (www.metis.co.za) and they did such a bad job that did not even removed the name.
We demand that you removed this site immediately before we lodge a complaint and place charges against your company.

    Hi Sivia,

I'm not sure I understand your complaint. We do not clone websites, we are a web hosting company, not a design firm. I have never heard of Metis, and if you have an issue with a website from them, you will need to contact that company.

Please get in touch with us if you have any questions about your Brain Host account.

    Hi Brain Host Customer support
What don't you understand you are hosting a cloned website called www.terrirolfdesigns.com
open that website up take a look at it and then open up the original website with this link www.spacebydesing.co.za. This website was built in South Africa and someone in USA cloned it and you are hosting it. Go to the contact page on terrirolf designs http://www.terrirolfdesigns.com/contact-details.htm open the google map on the page and it takes you o the Google map of space by design. We are not saying that you are a design company and we don't have an issue with the website but believe it is very wrong for you to host a stolen/cloned website.

"Terri Rolf -- or whatever his name is has scammed someone in MO.  Such a despicable thing to do to someone who trusted him.  Pretended to be a student at CMSU 20+ years ago.  Was NEVER a student there but is looking up old acquaintances from then to scam.

I've had a run in with wwwTerrirolfdesigns.com aka: Terry Rolf online & when I mentioned this to him he stated that he is part of a parent company in Cape Town South Africa & actually called it his mother's company. He states that his wife died of cancer & he is an only child of deceased parents living in Wheatland OK. He married his deceased wife in NJ. She bought a home in Wheatland OK to surprise him but never had the chance to move their because she died first. He states he is 47 & contacted me on a dating sight. His tag/profile is completely believable & it talks about how he once had great love with his deceased wife & now wants that same type of relationship again. He goes right into LTR. No dating. All of his numbers including the one on the website go to either Pinger or Google Voice hosting sights. He has a thick accent .... sounds kinda middle eastern & he mumbles on the phone. The voice doesn't match the beautiful pics of the person he shows himself to be on line. All three of his IP addresses are out of NJ. His FB page shows a pick of him & 13 friends from either Kentucky or TN. The business is not found anywhere on line except here & from the email clone he sent me. When u call the business again you get Google Voice. After being confronted he still denies everything & then after he could not produce a photo holding something from the refrigerator ...... he finally hung up!! Praise God from whom all blessings flow. I found out a lot from Spokeo & this sight. I feel bad for Space By Design because he also claims to be a part of your company in light of all of the information I gave him. I am just so glad that I found out before he could ever get to me. Thank you

Just in Time....I had the exact same run in with Terry or Terri Rolf....same exact story...expect he flew to Capetown S. Africa to get his mother's inheritance check.  One conversation she died 3 years ago, the next conversation, she died 2 years ago.  The stipulation was he had to be married or have a girlfriend in order to get his inheritance.  When asked to show his face on the webcam, he said his computer didn't have one.  This was back in July as well.  He even sent me a doctored up passport via email....to prove he was who he said he was). All he wanted me to do was open a bank account and sign off on the check and have the money wired to me. He got very mad when I told him to fly back to the US with the check and I would meet him at the airport (with police of course) and sign the check for 50 million he was getting. He even offered me $4 million....lol. Needless to say, I never heard from him again.

Good news, folks.  I'm with Artists Against 419, a volunteer group that researches and reports fake sites.  This dirtbag's site was taken down by Brainhost today.  He lost not only his fake design site, but he also had some subindexes that went down with it:  two fake banks, a fake cargo company, and a couple of Match.com logins.  That should keep him quiet for a while.

Come and visit us sometime.  :-)

To:  Just in Time.  SO thankful you were spared and hope you didn't lose any money.  When you talk to "him", it isn't necessarily  the same person each time.  Must be quite a network.  I hope you have alerted the dating sight.  It breaks my heart that people can be so evil.  In Missouri he had the same sad story of "Kim" his wife who died of breast cancer carrying a baby boy name Nathaniel.  He wrote a check to Relay for Life for $5,000 and of course it bounced but he was long gone by then and had made his local contact by then.  Girls!  YOU CAN'T BE TOO CAREFUL!

He did the same thing to me... Same story about his wife dying and that he lives in Oklohoma.  I asked him if he was a sooner or a cowboy and he had no idea what I was talking about.  He sent me a bunch of photos of himself. He wanted me to be on a video chat but his side didn't work.... Really, whatever!  Stay far away from this creap!!!

I hope the victims of Terri Rolfe will unite somehow .  The woman in MO has had a domino effect of devastating events happen to her all beginning with him.  Today she is lucky to be alive.  I would do almost anything to stop him from victimizing more trusting women.  If you see him on websites, DO SOMETHING!  Report him.  Make life as difficult for him as he has others.  This has been this creep's career!

I have had multiple conversations with this man and he is a charmer.  After having read the posts on complaint wire I decided to paly the role out to see just how far this man would go.  I have a contact number for him in Cape Town South Africa.  He did eventually ask me for money and no small amount either.  I have since found that the Terry Rolf that he has taken the identity of is a woman, but he would not know that because her name is spelled like a mans.

I'm sure he leaves a trail of destruction in his path and I know that my last conversation was with him last night when he asked for the money.  He told me how badly he needed the money or he was going to lose everything he has invested in a proejct he is working on there for the government.

I wish there was a way to catch this guy and make him fry!!!!  I understand how humiliating it is to be taken advantage of, but this man has to be stopped.

My, my that project certainly is taking a looooong time.

Is anyone computer savvy enough to create a "Victims of Terri Rolf" website??

          Would that be legal?

Fyi the pictures he sends belong to Jonathan Parker of West Palm Beach Florida. I have sent him a message to advise him of this misuse...  You can upload images to tineye.com and it does a reverse trace.

This guy claims he read this story on the Internet and just copied it. You can never be too careful!!
