I ordered a supply of Hydroxatone. My debit card was debited for the order. I did not recieve the product, so I called the company. I was told that I should check with the post office. They found no product there. I called the company to complain and to cancel any further orders. I was told that the only way to cancel the delivery of further shipments was to pay for the next month's shipment at that time. I paid the payment for the next month shipment and was told that I would not recieve any further debits to my account after that.
I never recieved any product from the second month payment either. I am essentially out of about $190.00 and no product ever recieved!! Since finding this site I feel better that I can at least warn others before they make the same mistakes. I also appreciate that you all give great advice on how to deal with these problems. Thanks!

    This is a common pattern of fraud often reported in connection with quack health products.  The "products" are marginal and cheap, but the whole goal of their "free trial offers" is to get your account information and cram on as many charges as they can before you get wise and block them.

    Immediately contact your bank to dispute fraudulent charges, and close the account due to fraud to prevent additional fraudulent charges.  Follow up with a written dispute or fraud affidavit sent to your bank's dispute address from your statement.

    File fraud complaints with FTC, your state Attorney General, and at www.ic3.gov

    Do NOT trust any cancellation or refund promises, as such scams will say anything to delay you past the 60 day FRB Reg. E or FCBA dispute periods during which your bank can just yank back their stolen money.  Dispute with your bank, and follow up with a written dispute or fraud affidavit sent to your bank's dispute address from your statement.

    Do NOT use checking accounts, debit cards, or check cards  for any payments to anyone you do not know and trust.  Limit their use to payments to trusted creditors such as rent, mortgage, utilities, etc.  Use only credit cards for retail or online payments, as the fraud protections are stronger and it is less disruptive to block credit card numbers when fraud occurs.

    *****DO NOT***** buy this!! this is the biggest scam i have ever seen. The creme is basically butter. Like the butter you put on your bread and they charged my credit card too many times. I canceled my card & SOMEHOW they got my new credit card number and took even more money. I had to file fraudulent charges with my bank. DO NOT under any circumstances order this product!

    DID A STUPID THING AND ORDERED THIS PRODUCT WITHOUT DOING ANY RESEACH FIRST.  IF ONLY I HAD READ THIS FORUM BEFORE HANDING OVER BANKING DETAILS.HAVE CONTACTED MY BANK AND HAVE CANCELLED MY DEBIT CARD.  I AM HOPING THIS WILL BE SUFFICIENT.  SURELY THEY CANNOT FIND DETAILS OF MY
    NEW CARD.  ANY THOUGHTS?

    I have been debited 3 times for this product and cannot contact them by phone to cancel the order. I am cancelling my credit card tomorrow.Wish I had read this before I gave over details!!I am already out $220!!!

    how should we know that kind of product is good to use to our body and not dangerous to our body or any human being will use it.

    I got free trial 1 and cancelled by phone and e-mail. I did not get any more but 2 payments taken out of bank. does anyone know about the same offer of Juveneu??? well with this 1 i did not even get trial 1 but again 2 payments gone out of same account so i am down £200 or more, i cannot afford this as i am disabled and on basic money.  HELP

    I am representing U.S. customers in a class action lawsuit, who were scammed by Hydroxatone or Atlantic Coast Media Group for unauthorized billing, who purchased product under the "risk free trial" scam or otherwise, who returned the product within 30 days but were charged.  Also included in the case are customers who cancelled but were subsequently billed for and/or sent additional unwanted, unordered product.  Additionally, we allege Hydroxatone scammed customers with unauthorized third party billing charges for unwanted, unordered, worthless "memberships" and services by numerous companies, including but not limited to: "easy saver", "ACM Your beauty advisor", "American Leisure", "Budget Source", "Home Play", SEM, EMI, Encore, Regent Group, Identity Watch, Brand Direct Marketing, Insider Pass, etc.

    Do not be fooled!  This scam is already operating in the US, Canada, UK, Europe, Australia, NZ, South Africa and spreading. The ads appear on legitmate sites which can fool people. I,too have been having my credit card used by them, even though I have not actually ordered anything. The email went before I had a chance to check it.
    In Australia, one cannont actually cancel one's credit card!  Any people who have your number can continue charging to it in adfinitum. The only resourse is to go direct to your credit card people, and report the scam, and they will assist on getting the cash refund from their account and then if they get the money back all is well,.  If not then you will have to pay back the credit card people for what they have put into your account to replace the scam. They forward it all to the Merchant Bank which looks into it then. So my advice is, go direct to the credit card people, no where else, return immediately anything you recieve as not authorised, unwanted by recipient, unsolicited mail, make sure you keep the reciept for returning it as evidence that you have returned it, and keep track of everything you do.. Send an email telling them to cancel your subscription immediately, and keep a copy. Also phone them and do the same, and keep a record of the phone call, time, date, results etc. .  Even though they might not answer, you have the record that you have complied, adn unsubscribed., After that they are most definitely up for recourse! Even if need be go to the Police about the matter, and get their fraud squad on to it, as it is fradulent, false advertising, and obtaining un authorised money from you, which is theft.
    Always be careful of anything on the web which has a trial period for only the postage. All the best, but it will take a while to sort your affairs out, and the stress will be great, but hang in there and keep going. We will beat them yet!
    Go check everything they claim on google before even thinking about it.  And KEEP RECORDS OF ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING!

    Pack of demons they are.....why is it taking so long to stop companies like these, who have been reported numerous times, to be actually stopped.... they need to be jailed!!!  People are still getting fooled and used yet the 'system' is allowing them to get away with it.... a simple credit card cancellation will stop it and a BIG lesson to be learnt!!!!

    there is a way to beat them at this game. If you had already ordered call immediately and get a return order from them. Once you receive this as soon as you have the product in your hand call them again and confirm the return and how soon you had. I called right after I ordered the product to cancel it, and when i called again after i received it they told me i had 2 days to get it back to them. I explained that was impossible and they extended the return. I returned the product immediately. WRITE THE RETURN NUMBER ALL OVER THE PACKAGE. Note the day they will charge you your first payment on the receipt and call back the day before, to confirm that you will have no further charges to your card. Take pictures of everything.

    If you are thorough and call ALOT they cant get you.

    The best is that even in the end when i called to confirm that they received the product back they tried to get me to confirm to another offer that would charge my card!

    All in all you are out the shipping and handling cost. Much better than the hundreds other seem to have lost.
